One-day Slab Building workshop. Beginner-friendly!
Service Description
Join us for a one-day workshop, where you will learn how to create your own to-go tumbler. This skill-building workshop gives students the opportunity to learn a new technique or improve their existing experience. This class will focus on creating a to-go tumbler using slab building techniques. Slabs will be prepped beforehand; this workshop is great for all skill levels! Students will be given enough clay to create one tumbler each. There will be time to paint small details using underglazes near the end of the workshop. September 12th @ 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM What's included: -Clay -Tools -Coloured underglazes -Glazing and firing What you'll learn: -How to create slab-built tumblers using slab-building techniques. -How to roll out slabs and cut out shapes to create your piece. -How to construct small to medium tumblers with slabs.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule, use the unique link in your confirmation email. Then click Manage Booking to open a secure page to reschedule. From the Members Area: If your site has a members area, clients can log in to their My Bookings page and click Reschedule next to any upcoming session. We cannot offer refunds for our drop-in classes, as the price is already discounted. We will happily reschedule your session to any future date. If you are absolutely unable to attend due to illness or a family emergency, please let us know, and we can issue a refund.
