Service Description

Clay Club offers an affordable, fun, and inclusive drop-in space to explore ceramic hand-building techniques at your own pace. A facilitator is available to help, but sessions are not instructional. Drop-In Hours Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri: 1:00–3:00 PM & 6:00–8:00 PM Saturday: 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday: 1:00–3:00 PM +WHAT TO EXPECT+ -Instruction and guidance BEGINS AT THE BEGINNING OF OPEN STUDIO TIME; 6:00 pm sharp. -Independent, create-at-your-own-pace studio time -2-hour session with 1.5 lbs of clay included -Use our tools or bring your own -Create anything you like +Projects are completed over two sessions: -Create 1/2: Build your piece -Paint 2/2: Paint with coloured underglazes (book at least one week later) *Optional: fire your piece unpainted (it is not required to return a second time to paint your work. We can glaze and fire your work unpainted/as-is. Underglaze works best on bone-dry clay. Wet clay can be painted on, but colors may appear lighter. ***All projects must be completed within 2 months due to limited shelf space. +FIRING & PICK-UP+ Firings happen twice per month. Total turnaround time is up to 5 weeks (drying, firing, and processing). You’ll receive an email when your work is ready for pickup. If you haven’t heard from us within 5 weeks, please reach out.
