Service Description
Join us for a one-day workshop where you will learn basic to intermediate handbuilding skills, including how to decorate your pieces using coloured underglazes. Saturday, March 21st @ 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Our instructor will start with a demonstration on how to create your silly boy plant pot using basic to intermediate hand-building and sculpting techniques. You will receive enough clay to make ONE silly boy. You will receive access to our coloured underglazes to give your boy style and personality. We will also have Nichrome wire available to add jewelry to your boy. At the end, you will get to name your silly boy. This workshop is beginner-friendly! What's included: -Clay. 2 LBS/person -Tools -Coloured slips and underglazes -Nichrome wire -Glazing and firing What you'll learn, -Various handbuilding techniques. -Sculpting techniques for constructing the face. -How to add Nichrome wire. -How to paint your piece using underglazes
